Studio Policies

We understand it is difficult balancing family activities and work. We will do our best to be flexible. Customers are required to review our studio policies.

Class Policy

Class registration is to be completed online. Artists should be registered for classes that are age appropriate as indicated in the description.

Your child is not enrolled in a class/workshop or event until payment is received in full and registration is complete online, we will not hold spaces due to small class sizes. We will not issue a refund if you cancel the class, a credit may be applied to an equivalent class in the future or if applicable we will package the art lesson to be done at home. Once you have enrolled and secured a space in the class we turn away other artists, if you know you will not be able to make the class please give us as much notice as possible so we may offer the spot to someone else.

If in the event a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, weather, or any other event prompted by Blueprint we will issue a refund or you may request a credit to use toward any other class you like. Thank you for understanding this policy!

Camps/ All Day Workshops/ Multi-day Event Policy

Workshops, camps and any other multi-day events will be paid upfront with an online registration as well. If for some reason your child has to miss a class during the art session, please call or text or email the studio prior to the start of the class. We will do our best to work with you to set up a make-up class  (preferably during the same week) or set up an art kit with the lesson if possible to be done at home. Please note any class that is missed with out notice is considered a "No Show" and can not be made up nor will a refund or credit be given. It is up to the parent/ guardian to organize a make up class with the studio. Please plan carefully as we do not offer refunds only studio credit. If you need to cancel and have already paid for the session we will issue a studio credit to be used in the future ( we understand sometimes life gets in the way of our plans and want to work with everyone especially in the currant world we live in please contact us and we can discuss options if notice is given in a timely manner as we do reserve the space based on your registration) We plan our art supplies and staff based on the enrollment of multi day workshops, camps etc. and turn a way other artists once the class enrollment has been reached. Our camps and multi-day events are small and may have waitlists, so our policies are to protect our customers and studio. We appreciate your understanding of this policy.

Sick Policy

In consideration for others, please refrain from sending your child or yourself to the studio if you/they are feeling ill. If you or your child is too sick for school/work you/they are to sick to send to the studio. Please contact the studio to make special arrangements for a make up class or an art lesson to be packaged up if applicable.

Covid 19 Policy

It is our policy to operate with transparency to all that choose to enter the studio. Our number one priority is to balance safety, while still providing a happy, loving and creative space for everyone to feel inspired and enjoy.

STUDIO CLEANING/COVID PROCEDURES:

-All surfaces will be thoroughly wiped down before and after class.

-Hand sanitizer will be provided and proper hand washing will be encouraged.

-Face mask are optional unless CDC guidance has changed. Please respect our decision as a                              small business to follow CDC guidelines, we would love to see our business flourish as a

safe, happy space and not get shut down by COVID or to have to debate our safety decisions. .

       - All material that can be sanitized will be done before and after each class to ensure proper safety.

-Please adhere to the studio's sick policy to minimize exposure to cold, covid, flu and any other viruses.

MISSED CLASS/CAMP/WORKSHOP DUE TO QUARANTINE

If you or your child have had any exposure to anyone with COVID 19 we ask that you please              refrain from sending your child or yourself into the studio. If your child has tested positive for covid, been exposed to covid or has any covid symptoms please DO NOT send them to camp. Contact me before camp and we will work out arrangements.

We reserve the right to restrict admission or send a child home, when, in our opinion that child is ill            or risks the health or well being of the other children. Please contact the studio to make special            arrangements for an art kit or to discuss studio credit to be used for a future class/ workshop                equivalent to the one missed.

Behavior

At Blueprint Art Studio we want to provide a safe and inclusive space for all of our artists. We encourage artists to have fun and be themselves in our space and we expect everyone to follow our guidlines to keep themselves, other artists and the space from harm. Any student found to be disruptive to the studio, teachers, or other artists will be dismissed with no refund. We have a zero tolerance policy for disruptive behavior.

Clothing

Art can be messy! We do have aprons for artists big and small... however worrying about keeping clothing and shoes clean restricts the creative process and  is not something we want for you or your little artists! Please send your child in clothing that can get messy, including shoes, you would be surprised how much paint lands on shoes! Remember sometimes art is a whole body experience, you or your child may come home with a little paint in their hair, or on their face and most likely will have multi colored hands- its a mark of a great artist- worrying about a mess is not fun! We do have a bathroom to obviously wash as much of the art process off and to provide a changing space if necessary.
